Retail clients residing in Poland who have the relevant trading experience and knowledge of derivative instruments may apply for Experienced Retail Client status. Eligibility is assessed in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF). To be considered, you must satisfy both of the following conditions:
Within the previous 24 months, you must have executed one of the following:
CFD opening transactions with a nominal value of at least EUR 50,000 each, at a frequency of at least 10 opening transactions per quarter over four quarters;
OR
CFD opening transactions with a nominal value of at least €10,000 each, at a frequency of at least 50 opening transactions per quarter over four quarters;
OR
CFD opening transactions with a combined nominal value of at least EUR 2,000,000, with at least 40 opening transactions per quarter over four quarters.
You must also demonstrate appropriate knowledge of derivative instruments, including CFDs, by satisfying one of the following:
Holding relevant professional qualifications or certifications, such as Investment Adviser, Securities Broker, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), ACI Dealing Certificate, ACI Diploma, or a relevant academic degree;
OR
Completing at least 50 hours of training on derivative instruments, including CFDs, within the previous 12 months, evidenced by certificates or other verification issued by recognised training providers;
OR
Having at least one year of professional experience, under an employment contract or other contractual arrangement, in a position requiring knowledge of CFDs or other derivative instruments.
*EUR thresholds are converted into the applicable local currency using the average EUR exchange rate published by the relevant central bank on the business day preceding the date of the client's application, where applicable.
